Crazy Crust Pizza Teresa Johnson - Teresa's Recipe Request Board
MEAT MIXTURE
- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef or ground sausage OR 1 cup pepperoni slices OR any combination you desire
BATTER:
- 1 cup flour
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning or oregano
- 1/8 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 2/3 cup milk
- 2 eggs
TOPPING:
- Meat mixture
- 1/4 cup onions
- 1 4oz can mushrooms,drained
- 1 cup pizza sauce
- 1 cup (8oz) mozzerella cheese
DIRECTIONS:
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Brown ground beef and/or sausage; season to taste. Drain well. Lightly grease and dust pan. In small bowl, combine flour, seasonings, eggs, and milk; mix until smooth. Pour batter into pan and tilt so batter covers entire bottom. Arrange meat, onons and well drained mushrooms over batter. Bake on low rack in oven at 425 degrees for 25-30 mins. until golden brown. Remove from oven; drizzle with pizza sauce, sprinkle with cheese. Return to oven for 10-15 mins. Makes one 12 to 14 inch pizza.
